Well, our trip was coming to and end. We relunctantly packed our things and planned to take a ferry back to Seattle or drive to Seattle to Vancouver with the car, we hadn’t decided which was faster yet.

Brad and I headed for breakfast, where the lobby, though still dark, looked much brighter than the night before. I commented on it and the concierge told me they dim the lights at night. Lovelay.

The breakfast was sadly not included, but we liked the dining area so much, and we were so hungry that we decided to partake of an elegant breakfast, with an assortment of Canadian preserves, toast, coffee service, eggs, rosemary potatoes, with bacon and sausage for Bradley.

The views of the surrounding gardens with amazing, especially in the rain. There were trees and ivys and gazebos in the gardens, and a house with a thatched roof in the distance.

We lingered a while longer, then took some pictures of the lobby and the view of the Inn as you walk out of the front door. I was sad to go, and vowed to return once again!! 🙂
